A regular meeting of the Charter Township of Oakland Board of Trustees was called to order on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 7:06 PM in the Township Hall, 4393 Collins Rd, Rochester, MI.
PRESENT: Dominic Abbate, Supervisor; Robin Buxar, Clerk; John Giannangeli, Treasurer; Jack Elder, Trustee; Dave Mabry, Trustee; Lana Mangiapane, Trustee; Andy Zale, Trustee
ABSENT: None
THE FOLLOWING MOTIONS WERE MADE AND PASSED:
1. To approve the agenda as amended.
2. To approve the Consent Agenda as read.
3. To approve Verizon Wireless – Special Land Use Site Plan for a wireless communication facility monopole cell tower at 1215 Stoney Creek Road, subject to the petitioner completing and complying with all ordinance requirements of Oakland Township, Township consultants, Oakland County, and the State of Michigan in addition, pending the approval of the Planning Commission’s meeting minutes.
4. To accept the offer of $510,000.00 contingent upon an acceptable road easement and road maintenance agreement.
5. To make a counter offer of $995,000.00 to the offer of $965,000.00 contingent upon an acceptable road easement and road maintenance agreement.
6. To have vacant lot #5 on Sheldon Road end acceptance of offers on Thursday, April 22nd, 2021 at noon.
7. To approve the Charter Township of Oakland Board of Trustees Resolution to declare a “State of Emergency” Resolution No. 21-08 and authorize Township Clerk to sign.
8. For the Board of Trustees to continue virtual meetings until June 30th, 2021.
9. To appoint a subcommittee of no more than 3 or less than 2 Board members to review the Artemis Development and request that the Township Manager work with the Subcommittee.
10. To appoint Treasurer Giannangeli to the Artemis Subcommittee.
11. To appoint Trustee Mangiapane to the Artemis Subcommittee.
12. To appoint Trustee Mabry to the Artemis Subcommittee.
14. To adjourn the meeting at 8:24 PM.
