Suzanne F. McCoy, 74, of Fort Gratiot, died Thursday April 15, 2021 at McLaren Hospital in Port Huron. She was born on Jan. 24, 1947 in Detroit, the daughter of Floyd and Wilhemina (Fisher) Peterson. On April 20, 1996, she married Bernie McCoy.
Suzanne enjoyed sewing, gardening and bowling with her husband as well as animals and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Bernie; brother, Dennis (Diane) Peterson of New Baltimore; children, Kimberley (Chuck) Schneider of Kimball, Kelly (Philip) Zimmer of Washington Township and Paula Fillbrook of Romeo; grandchildren, Dillon Gottschalk, PJ Zimmer, Ty Zimmer, Angel Philipp and Branden Fillbrook; great grandchildren, Ashton Grassel and Penelope Fillbrook; beloved cat, Riley; and her many friends.
An outdoor memorial will be held late spring or early summer. Local arrangements by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo.
