A regular meeting of the Charter Township of Oakland Board of Trustees was called to order on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 7:00 PM via video conference GoToMeeting.
PRESENT: Dominic Abbate, Supervisor; Robin Buxar, Clerk; John Giannangeli, Treasurer; Jack Elder, Trustee; Dave Mabry, Trustee; Lana Mangiapane, Trustee; Andy Zale, Trustee
ABSENT: None
THE FOLLOWING MOTIONS WERE MADE AND PASSED:
1. To approve the agenda as presented.
2. To approve the Consent Agenda as read.
3. To approve the Resolution 21-09 of Local Government Approval for the SDM and SDD Liquor Licenses for The Silver Shamrocks, LLC for the premises located at 4505 Collins Rd, Rochester, MI, be recommended for approval by the Michigan Liquor Control Commission and authorize the Township Clerk to certify and file the same.
4. To accept the offer of $215,000 with the acceleration clause to $221,000 which is $5,000 above the written offer of $216,000 for the vacant lot on Sheldon Rd.
5. To reappoint Bob Bowen as Historic District Commissioner for a term of 3 years, beginning May 2021 and expiring May 2024.
6. To reappoint Dave Phillips as Historic District Commissioner for a term of 3 years, beginning May 2021 and expiring May 2024.
7. To reappoint Ron Bargy as Historic District Commissioner for a term of 3 years, beginning May 2021 and expiring May 2024.
8. To post for the open seat, left vacated by the unfortunate passing of Bruce Parkinson, for 2 weeks, until the next BOT meeting, to see if there are any additional people interested.
9. To approve Resolution 21-10 Authorizing West Nile Virus Fund Expense Reimbursement.
10. To adjourn the meeting at 7:43 PM.
