PUBLIC NOTICE – VILLAGE OF ARMADA SYNOPSIS OF UNOFFICIAL MINUTES FOR RCM 5/10/21

Pres. Wolak called meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Pledge of Allegiance recited. Council members present at roll call: Shall, Clark, Coenen, Wolak, Ballard, Sledz, and Boelke. Also present: Clerk Poulos, Treasurer Adair, Jeffrey Bahorski, and Kevin Grand.

COUNCIL ACTION: Unanimously approved Agenda as presented. Heard and Received: Planning Commission Meeting Minutes of 4-14-21; the Treasurer’s Report for March, 2021; correspondence from the Village of Clinton; a comment from the Clerk that Lisa McCain would not be holding a town hall at the Village Office tomorrow as planned stated at the last RCM. Approved the Consent Agenda as amended: RCM Minutes of 4/26/21 approved as presented; Payment of Bills totaling $44,298.00 as presented. Heard/Received reports from the Sewer and Water Commissioners. Unanimously approved: to approve the Special Event Permit Application from the Armada AmVets for a Four Corner Fundraiser on 5-28-21 and the Memorial Day Parade on 5-31-21 as long as all COVID safe practices are followed as outlined and explained to the AmVets. Subject to cancellation/change to comply with the Department of Health and Human Services orders; to approve the Resolution to establish a request for funding, designate an agent, attest to the existence of funds and commit to implementing a maintenance program funded by the Transportation Economic Development Fund Category B program for the rehabilitation of existing asphalt pavement on Lathrop Street from Fulton Street to Floral Street. To enter into Executive Session at 7:22 p.m. after a 5-minute recess. Unanimously approved to adjourn the meeting at 7:51 p.m. A Complete text of minutes is available for public inspection at the Clerk’s office during regular business hours.
