A special meeting of the Charter Township of Oakland Board of Trustees was called to order on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 6:02 PM in the Township Hall, 4393 Collins Rd, Rochester, MI.
PRESENT: Dominic Abbate, Supervisor; Robin Buxar, Clerk; John Giannangeli, Treasurer; Jack Elder, Trustee; Dave Mabry, Trustee; Lana Mangiapane, Trustee
ABSENT: Andy Zale, Trustee
THE FOLLOWING MOTIONS WERE MADE AND PASSED:
1. To approve the agenda as amended.
2. To approve going into closed session at 6:05 PM for the purpose of the following:
1) Discussion of a confidential legal opinion regarding IAFF negotiations, pursuant to MCL 15.268(h) and MCL 15.243(1)(g).
2) Discussion of a confidential legal opinion on employee wages and job duty amendments procedure, pursuant to MCL 15.268(h) and MCL 15.243(1)(g).
3) Discussion of a confidential legal opinion regarding police millage renewal pursuant to MCL 15.268(h) and MCL 15.243(1)(g).
4) Discussion of a confidential legal opinion on the issuance of a moratorium on the issuance of on-premise liquor licenses under the MLCC, pursuant to MCL 15.268(h) and MCL 15.243(1)(g).
5) Discussion of a confidential legal opinion regarding the agreement to place conditions on liquor license as a condition of issuance under the MLCC, pursuant to MCL 15.268(h) and MCL 15.243(1)(g).
3. To adjourn the meeting at 7:00 PM.
