NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Primary Election will be held in Oakland Township on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. The polls will be open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the following locations:
Precinct 1 – Hugger Elementary School, 5050 Sheldon Road
Precinct 2 – Woodlands Mobile Home Park Clubhouse, 1441 West Romeo Road
Precinct 3 & 4 (Temporary for the August 2022 Primary Election ONLY)
Rochester Christian Church, 4435 N. Rochester Road,
Rochester Hills, MI 48306
Precinct 5 & 8 (Temporary for the August 2022 Primary Election ONLY)
Oakland Church, 5100 N. Adams Road, Rochester, MI 48306
Precinct 6 – Oakland Twp. Fire Station #2, 1888 Rochester Road
Precinct 7 – Musson Elementary School, 3500 West Dutton Road
The Primary Election is being held for the purpose of nominating candidates for the following offices:
CONGRESSIONAL Representative in Congress
LEGISLATIVE Representative in State Legislature and State Senator
COUNTY County Commissioner
TOWNSHIP Park Commissioner (1)
DELEGATES Delegates to the County Convention of the Republican and Democratic Parties.

Absentee ballots are available for all elections; registered voters may contact the Oakland Township Clerk’s Office, 4393 Collins Road, Rochester, MI 48306 to obtain an application for an absent voter ballot.
The Clerk’s Office will be open on Saturday, July 30, 2022 from 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Questions concerning the Primary Election should be directed to the Oakland Township Clerk’s Office at 248-651-4440.
To comply with the Help America Vote Act (HAVA), voting instructions will be available in audio format and in Braille. Arrangements for obtaining the instructions in these alternative formats can be made by contacting the Township Clerk in advance of the election. All polling locations are accessible for voters with disabilities.
