To the Qualified Electors: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the PRIMARY ELECTION will be held in the Township of Armada, County of Macomb, State of Michigan on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at the places of holding the Election in said township as indicated below.
ARMADA TOWNSHIP PRECINCTS:
Precinct 1
Armada Area Schools Administration Building
(living South of Armada Center Road)

Precinct 2
Armada Senior Center (living North of Armada Center Road)
75400 Armada Center, Armada 48005
All precincts are handicap accessible. Voting instructions are available in alternative formats. Contact your Clerk’s office for details. Please note that “photo identification” requirement implemented per Michigan Election Law, requires voter’s appearing at polling locations to present picture identification, or sign an affidavit if they do not have picture identification with them.
The polls of said election will be open at 7:00 a.m. and will remain open until 8:00 p.m.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that for the Primary Election you will be voting on nominating candidates for the following offices:
Governor, Representative in Congress – 9th District, Representative in State Legislature 65th District, State Senator – 25th District, County Commissioner – 1st District, County Executive.
Armada Township: Two partial terms ending 11/20/24 – Treasurer (1 seat) and Trustee (1 seat). Delegate to County Convention.
Please note that the Township of Armada will be open to the public Saturday, July 30, 2022 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to process absentee ballot requests ONLY. Friday, July 29 is the last day an absent voter ballot can be mailed via First Class mail. On Monday, August 1, 2022 absentee ballots must be voted in person at the clerk’s office up until 4:00 p.m.
