On July 13, 2022, the Township Board of the Charter Township of Washington, Macomb County, Michigan, adopted an Amendment of the Charter Township of Washington Zoning Ordinance to provide for the designation of areas within the Township in which pathways and sidewalks shall or may be required, setting forth the obligations of property owners within designated areas for the construction of pathways and sidewalks and establishing general material requirements for sidewalks, pathways and walkways. The Ordinance Amendment shall become effective seven (7) days after the date of this publication. A copy of the Zoning Ordinance Amendment may be purchased or inspected during regular business hours at the Washington Township Clerk’s Office located at 57900 Van Dyke Avenue, Washington Township, MI 48094. A copy of the Amendment is also available for inspection on the Washington Township website.
