Pres. Wolak called meeting to order at 7:02 PM. Pledge of Allegiance recited. Council members present at roll call: Ballard, Shall, Clark, Boelke, Wolak, Sledz. Absent: Coenen. Also present: Clerk Poulos, Treasurer Adair, Adriana Annoni, Stacy Sobotka, Doug Hartline, Jeff White, Anne Porter, and Kevin Grand.
COUNCIL ACTION: Unanimously approved Agenda as presented. Heard and/or received a DPW Report for July, 2022, the Treasurer’s and F & V Reports for June, 2022, verbal reports from Street Administrator Sledz and President Wolak, and a written report submitted and reviewed by Water Commissioner Boelke. The Council also acknowledged Intern Adriana Annoni and her accomplishments as this was the last Council meeting that she will be attending before returning to college. Unanimously Approved the Consent Agenda as presented: RCM Minutes of 07/11/22 approved as presented; Payment of Bills totaling $289,955.25 as presented; to approve an hourly wage rate of $20.00/hour for Jeffrey Gentner for all hours worked effective July 25, 2022. Heard a brief report from Sewer Commissioner Clark. Unanimously Approved: to allow the Clerk to sign the Municipal Credit and Community Credit Contract to distribute the FY 2023 Municipal Credit Funds totaling $1,557.00 and the Community Credit Funds totaling $4,360.00 directly to Richmond/Lenox EMS; to accept the bid from Crown Concrete Construction in the amount not to exceed $7,600.00; that the Village Council allow the Water Commissioner to accept and sign the quote from McIntyre’s Water Service for G-2 Medial Exchange in Vessels #1 and #2 at the cost of $342,100.00 payable in three increments over a period of 10 (ten) months; to accept the Rowe’s Lathrop Street drainage improvement proposal and the cost of $52,000.00 to develop the specifications and bid package; to approve the listed items for sale starting at the minimum respective bids as listed on the attached Sale Item Sheets. Unanimously approved to adjourn the meeting at 8:07 p.m. A Complete text of minutes is available for public inspection at the Clerk’s office during regular business hours.
