PUBLIC NOTICE – NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF WASHINGTON ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Washington Township Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a Public Hearing on Monday October 3rd 2022 at 6:30 p.m., at 57900 Van Dyke, Washington Township Michigan 48094 in the Board Room at the Washington Township Municipal Building. The purpose of this meeting is to consider an appeal by:

By reason of:
Washington Township Zoning Ordinance, Article 3.0 Zoning Districts, Section 3.25.E (table for minimum required landscaped setback) & 2.

Washington Township Zoning Ordinance, Article 3.0 Zoning Districts, Section 3.9.D. RM-2 Multiple-Family Residential, Development Standards, Minimum Gross Site Area per Multiple-Family Dwelling Unit, 2-bedroom Dwelling Unit.

Purpose of request:
To request a variance, which if granted would allow for a 14ft variance from the minimum required landscaped setback for the rear side of the building between buildings 1 and 2.

To request a dimensional variance which if granted would allow for a reduction of 555 square feet per unit from the minimum gross site area per multiple family dwelling unit based on a 2-bedroom dwelling unit calculation.
