Pres. Wolak called meeting to order at 7:05 PM. Pledge of Allegiance recited. Council members present at roll call: Clark, Ballard, Shall, Wolak, Sledz, and Boelke. Absent: Coenen. Also present: Clerk Poulos, Treasurer Adair, and Stacy Sobotka.
COUNCIL ACTION: Approved Agenda as presented. Heard and/or Received: Code Enforcement and Police Action Report for August, 2022; the Planning Commission Meeting Minutes of 8-1-22. Verbal reports from Water Commissioner Boelke, Street Administrator Sledz, and Planning Commission Liaison Shall. Approved the Consent Agenda as presented: RCM Minutes of 8/22/22 approved as presented; Payment of Bills totaling $98,289.19 as presented (Ballard abstains from Minutes). Heard a verbal report from Sewer Commissioner Clark. Unanimously approved: to approve the Special Event Permit Application from the Armada Area Schools on 10-07-22 between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm to hold a parade; to allow the Water Department to sell, to the public , seven old and unserviceable fire hydrants to the highest bidder(s) with a minimum starting price not less than the price of scrap; to accept a donation from David Wagner of a John Deere riding lawnmower, model #MOL133A070511 LT 133 Tractor, to the Village of Armada to be used by the Department of Public Works in its operational use; to accept the Proclamation declaring September 17, 2022, as Constitution Day as presented.
