A special meeting of the Charter Township of Oakland Board of Trustees was called to order on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 6:05 PM in the Township Hall, 4393 Collins Rd, Rochester, MI.
PRESENT: Dominic Abbate, Supervisor; Robin Buxar, Clerk; John Giannangeli, Treasurer; Jack Elder, Trustee; Dave Mabry, Trustee; Lana Mangiapane, Trustee; Andy Zale, Trustee
ABSENT: None
THE FOLLOWING MOTIONS WERE MADE AND PASSED:
1. To approve the agenda as presented.
2. To approve going into closed session at 6:08 PM for the purpose of:
1)Discussion of a confidential legal opinion regarding SW Water Storage, pursuant to MCL 15.268(h) and MCL 15.243(1)(g). Discussion of a confidential legal opinion regarding employee compensation and fringe benefits, pursuant to MCL 15.268(h) and MCL 15.243(1)(g). Discussion of a confidential legal opinion regarding pending litigation, pursuant to MCL 15.268(e).
3. To add under Pending Business – Item #2) Discussion of a confidential legal opinion regarding Elections and Clerk compensation pursuant to MCL 41.95.
4. To approve going into closed session at 6:46 PM for the purpose of discussing a confidential legal opinion regarding Elections and Clerk compensation pursuant to MCL 41.95.
5. To adjourn the meeting at 7:08 PM.
