Pres. Pro-Tem Coenen called meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Pledge of Allegiance recited. Council members present at roll call: Ballard, Shall, Clark, Coenen, Boelke, Sledz. Absent: Wolak. Also present: Clerk Poulos, Stacy Sobotka, Anne Porter, Sam Boelke, Julie LeFever, Kevin Grand, Doug Hartline, and Richard Maierle.
COUNCIL ACTION: Unanimously approved Agenda as presented. Heard and/or received a DPW Report for October, 2022, F & V Report for September, 2022, Treasurer’s Reports for August and September, 2022, verbal reports from Street Administrator Sledz, Water Commissioner Boelke, and Trustee Shall. Unanimously Approved the Consent Agenda as presented: RCM Minutes of 10/10/22 approved as presented; Payment of Bills totaling $21,130.50 as presented; to approve the Special Event Permit Application from the Armada Lions Club for the Goodfellow Paper Four Corner Fundraiser on December 2 through 4, 2022 between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Christmas Tree Set-Up on November 26, 2022, between the hours of 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm; Santa Day on December 18, 2021, on December 18, 2021, between 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm, Christmas Tree Decorating on November 27, 2022, between the hours of 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm; Santa Day on December 17, 2022, between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm and Holly Days on December 3, 2022, between 5:00 pm and 8:30 pm. Unanimously Approved: to allow the Police Chief to order a new patrol vehicle using F/Y 23/24 Salvage Title Funds for a not to exceed amount to $45,940.00; to allow the Police Chief to purchase a new Radar unit using Salvage Title Funds for a not to exceed amount of $2,170.00; to approve the attached resolution to allow the Treasurer to open a checking account at Fifth Third Bank named the Village of Armada SRF Bond Redemption Fund; that the Council approve funding for the ZBA (Zoning Board of Appeals) to conduct not more than two additional administrative ZBA meetings this fiscal year at a total not to exceed cost of $500.00, funds will come from the General Funds.
