NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that the Washington Township Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a Public Hearing on Monday February 6th 2023 at 6:30 p.m., at 57900 Van Dyke, Washington Township Michigan 48094 in the Board Room at the Washington Township Municipal Building. The purpose of this meeting is to consider an appeal by:

By reason of:
Washington Township Zoning Ordinance, Article 5.0 Site Standards, Section 5.13.B.1.d. Environmental Provisions, Tree preservation plan.
Purpose of request:
To request a variance, which if granted would allow the applicant to not have to replace 188 of the 376 required replacement trees. Our ordinance states that if over fifty percent (50%) of the trees will be removed, the plan must state how many trees in excess of fifty percent, (50%), are to be removed. This number, multiplied by two (2) shall be the total number of trees which shall be provided/replaced on the site plan.
