Washington Township Zoning Ordinance, Article 5.0 Site Standards, Section 5.1.B.3.a & c. Detached accessory buildings in residential districts.
Purpose of request:
To request a variance, which if granted would allow the applicant to construct an accessory structure within the front yard setback on one of the sides in which the property abuts a road. The Zoning Ordinance states that all detached accessory buildings shall be located only in the rear yards and accessory buildings on corner lots shall observe the applicable front yard setbacks from both abutting streets for the district in which the building is located.
