NJ Lead Paint Inspection Notice for Landlords
New Jersey law requires owners of rental properties built before 1978 to complete lead paint inspections and maintain a valid lead-safe or lead-free certification. Inspections are required on a recurring basis or at tenant turnover, depending on the property. Failure to comply may result in penalties.
