Regular Meeting was opened at 7:00 p.m. Roll call and Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Approval Agenda- motion carried. Approval of Minutes –– Approval of minutes March 18, 2024 – motion carried. March 25, 2024 – motion carried. Approval of the Bills –Approval in the amount of $405,065.66 and $33,303.37 – motion carried. Special Presentations –Green Space on Prospect Street –Correspondences – None. Public Comments – Comments were heard. Officer reports: President – report given, Clerk – report given, Treasurer – report of investments submitted, Trustees- reports given, Planning Commission Ex-Ofico – no report. Committee reports- PILOP Committee –did not meet. Motion to dissolve committee – motion carried ; Unfinished business: Fire/Als contract – motion carried with updates. Crosswalk Project – motion carried to close project. Motion carried to investigate previous Village President. New Business: Chief of Police Appointment – motion carried. Marihuana License Applications – announcement of new licenses. Village Hall Masonry Bid – tabled until April 23, 2024 meeting. Flag Pole Ordinance – tabled until May meeting. DDA Event Permit – motion carried. Headlee Override Discussion – no board action. Tree Ordinance Proposed Updates – tabled until May meeting. CLOSED SESSION Union Grievance – Motion to move into Closed Session at 8:25 p.m. – motion carried. Motion to end Closed Session at 8:55 p.m. – motion carried. Agreement to pay sick leave hours only from Union Grievance – motion carried. Adjournment – Meeting adjourned at 8:55 p.m.
