The Richmond Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Richmond Township Hall, 34900 School Section Road, Richmond, Michigan 48062. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive comments on a proposed amendment to the Richmond Township Zoning Ordinance requiring rat walls for all accessory structures exceeding 200 square feet, as set forth in Section 7.00(A)(7).
Copies of the proposed amendments are available for inspection at the Richmond Township Clerk’s office, 34900 School Section Road, Richmond, MI., 48062, during regular Township business hours, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, excluding holidays. Written comments concerning the proposed amendments may be submitted to the Township Clerk by first-class mail or in person up to the meeting.
