Held three public hearings: Community Development Block Grant funding requests, Armada Township Cost Recovery Ordinance and Singel Waste Hauler.
The following motions were made and passed: To approve agenda as presented. To approve list of bills. To receive and file departmental reports. To approve minutes: 12.10.25. FY26 Community Development Block Grant Funds Allocation: Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers $360, Samaritan House $700 and MCREST $700. Adopted Armada Township Cost Recovery Ordinance R2025-1. Adopted Single Waste Hauler Ordinance No. R2026-2. Awarded: Priority Waste LLC contract for single waste hauler. Re appointments to Board of Review: David Andrews, Joan Falkenberg and John Young. Accepted resignation from Fulltime firefighter/paramedic Mackenzie Sargent. Approve purchase of Microsoft Surface Pro Tablet for building department. Set the following public hearings for February 11: Animal Control Ordinance/Ordinance Amendment and Special Events Ordinance. Adopted Resolution No. 2026-01 Armada Township Parks & Recreation Plan 2026-2030. Adopted Resolution No. 2026-02 to extend a one hundred eighty day (180) moratorium on the building of data centers within the Township of Armada.
