Notice is hereby given that the Bruce Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, beginning at 6:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows, at the Bruce Township Hall, 223 East Gates Street, Romeo, MI 48065.
The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments on a request for special land use approval submitted by Donald Rochon. The applicant proposes to construct a detached garage at 4100 33 Mile Road (parcel ID 14-01-32-100-031) in the R1 Single Family Residential district. The parcel in question is approximately 2.9 acres. The garage is proposed in a front yard, and such placement requires special land use approval.
A complete copy of the application for special land use approval may be examined at Bruce Township Hall, 223 East Gates Street, Romeo, MI 48065, prior to the public hearing, during the Township’s regular business hours, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM through 4:30 PM. Written comments may be addressed to the Planning Commission at the Township Hall address. Oral comments will be taken during the hearing on March 4, 2026.
