NOTICE: On February 23, 2026, the Village of Romeo Board of Trustees adopted an amendment to the Village of Romeo Code of Ordinances with regards to Payment In Lieu of Parking.
Section 46-314(3) was amended to add subparagraph (c) prohibiting the use of Payment in Lieu of Parking for Residential Uses within the Central Business District. The motion to adopt the amendment was made by Trustee Edwards, with support by Trustee Rosso, and passed by a 7-0 vote.
A true copy of the ordinance amendment is on file at the office of the Village Clerk located at 121 W. Saint Clair, Romeo, MI 48065, and is available for public examination by contacting the clerk at clerk@villageofromeomi.gov.
