PUBLIC NOTICE – NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING THE VILLAGE OF ROMEO ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS

NOTICE: Please be advised that, on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., the Village of Romeo, MI Zoning Board of Appeals, will hold a public hearing at the Meeting Room located at 361 Morton Street, Romeo, MI 48065. The purpose of this public hearing is to hear comments, oral or written, and consider the following application for address:

14655 32 Mile Road, Romeo, MI 48065 Parcel ID# 27-01-36-400-040

The applicant/owner is seeking variance from Ordinance 482 Section 46-612, the required number of parking spaces for an industrial use. This variance is linked to a conditional site plan approval for an addition for a warehouse operation. The site currently holds 96 existing parking spaces including 4 ADA spaces. Industrial developments within the Village of Romeo must provide one parking space for every 500 square feet of gross-floor area which would require the applicant to increase the number of provided spaces to 200.

The proposed documents may be examined, or written comments may be submitted, at the Village Office during the normal business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, or by emailing the Building Administrator at skorth@villageofromeomi.gov
