PUBLIC NOTICE – RAY TOWNSHIP ELECTION COMMISSION MEETING NOTICE OF PUBLIC ACCURACY TEST OF VOTING EQUIPMENT

To the qualified electors of Ray Township, Macomb County, State of Michigan:

NOTICE is hereby given the Public Accuracy Test for the electronic voting equipment that will be used for the State Primary on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 Election is scheduled for Monday, July 13th, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at Ray Township, 64255 Wolcott Rd, Ray, MI 48096. The Election Commission will appoint the election inspectors for election day and for early voting.

The Public Accuracy Test for the electronic voting equipment that will be used for the State Primary Joint Early Voting for Ray Township, Bruce Township and the Charter Township of Washington is scheduled for Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. at the Charter Township of Washington Activity Center located at 57880 Van Dyke Road, Washington Township, MI 48094. The Joint Early Voting Site time of canvass will begin at 8:00 p.m. on August 4, 2026.

The Public Accuracy Test is conducted to demonstrate the computer programming used to tabulate the votes cast at the election meets the requirements of Michigan election law.

This meeting will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the “Open Meetings Act”. All interested members of the public are invited and welcome to attend.
