Notice is hereby given that the Bruce Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, beginning at 6:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows, at the Bruce Township Hall, 223 East Gates Street, Romeo, MI 48065.
The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments on a request for special land use approval submitted by Chuck & Ashley Froehlich of 33 Mile Properties, LLC. The applicant proposes to construct a self-storage facility at 14594 33 Mile Rd (parcel ID 14-01-36-200-036) in the LI-1 Light Industrial district. The parcel in question is approximately 4.29 acres. This use requires special land use approval.
A complete copy of the application for special land use approval may be examined at Bruce Township Hall, 223 East Gates Street, Romeo, MI 48065, prior to the public hearing, during the Township’s regular business hours, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM through 4:30 PM. Written comments may be addressed to the Planning Commission at the Township Hall address. Oral comments will be taken during the hearing on November 4, 2026.
