NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 26th day of October 2026, the Township Board of the Township of Armada, Macomb County, Michigan, adopted Ordinance No. R2026-06, amending the Township’s Waste Collection and Disposal Ordinance No. R2026-02.
The amendment provides that delinquent waste collection and disposal charges and penalties for single-family properties that are delinquent for 90 days or more as of September 30 of each year may be placed on the following winter tax roll for collection with township taxes. The amount placed on the tax roll shall not exceed the cumulative delinquent balance for six months of services per contract year. Such charges and penalties shall be collected in the same manner as delinquent real property taxes.
The ordinance shall become effective upon publication following adoption. A complete copy of the ordinance is available for inspection at the Armada Township Office during regular business hours.
