Gordon Logan, 93, of Armada, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, April 8, 2020. He was born on June 29, 1926 in Ellon Aberdeenshire, Scotland, the a son of Francis and Elizabeth (nee Cheyne) Logan. On April 21, 1951, he married Jane P. Adamson in Ellon Scotland and they had 68 beautiful years together.

Gordon worked as a quality control inspector and paint line operator at T.R.W. Vehicle Safety Systems from 1966 until he retired in 1991. He also worked at Robert Klein Lily Pond Farm.  Gordon was a member of the U.A.W. He enjoyed showing Holsteins and gardening. Gordon especially loved to grow roses.  He was a proud grandfather and loved spending time with his family. Gordon will be greatly missed by his loving family and beloved community.

Gordon is survived by his loving wife, Jane; son, Gordon J. (Laurel) Logan; daughters, Irene (William) Bodendorfer, Elizabeth (Steve) Tebeau and Lynn (Vince) LaCavera; grandchildren, Christopher (Shannon) Bodendorfer, Nathan Bodendorfer, Megan LaCavera, Rachel LaCavera and Mary Claire (Matthew) Esper; and great-grandchildren, Madison and Morgan Bodendorfer.

Gordon is predeceased by his siblings, William Logan, Frank Logan, Betty Stephen, Mary Mundie and parents, Francis and Elizabeth Logan.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial visitation and service will be planned for a later date.

Gordon will be laid to rest in Willow Grove Cemetery, Richmond Township.

Memorial tributes would be appreciated to the Congregational United Church of Christ in Armada.
