Diane K. Trombley, 76, a lifelong Romeo area resident, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2020 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township. She was born July 29, 1943 in Romeo, the daughter of Clarence Sr. and Vesta (Frost) Vallie. She married Harold Trombley on Oct. 13, 1962, then Tom Hart who preceded her in death on March 26, 1996 and then remarried Harold in 1999.
Diane retired from Kmart in Shelby Township after 20 years of employment as a clerk/office employee. Before Kmart, she worked as a meat cutter at the Romeo A&P. Her hobbies included watching her beloved Detroit Tigers, shopping, and planting flowers in the yard.
Diane is survived by her husband, Harold; children, Tammy Trombley-Baughman of Muskegon and Douglas Trombley of Shelby Township; grandchildren, David, Jacob, Sarah, Joshua and Tyler; great-grandchildren, Allie, Bryant and Auden; and brother, Clarence “Butch” Jr. (Jane) Vallie.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Carol Hill, Sally Rick and Richard Vallie.
Funeral services will be private with burial at McCafferty Cemetery in Bruce Township.
A celebration of life will take place at later date.
