GLASSFORD
Christine Lee (Belanger) Glassford, 62, of Romeo, passed into her eternal home on Friday, Aug. 28, 2020 surrounded by beloved family. She was born on March 8, 1958 in Mount Clemens, to Alfred and Rosalie (Cameron) Belanger. She married Richard Glassford on June 23, 1990.
She was a 1976 graduate of Brandon High School, Ortonville. She was a friend and mentor to many. She was employed with Romeo Schools as a bus driver and site leader in the SACC program. “Miss Chris” was very loved by many children and their parents for how well she cared for her students.
She enjoyed playing bingo, euchre and listening to country music. Her greatest love was for her savior, Jesus Christ and her family.
She is survived by Brad Glassford, and Kayla (Cody) Sidaway; as well as her two beloved fur grandbabies, Achilles and Annabelle. She is also survived by Sandy (William) Pontzious, Anthony (Toni) Belanger, Tom Belanger, Gordon Belanger, and Mary Belanger; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by Coleen (George) LeFeuvre.
A memorial was held in her honor on Sunday, Sept. 20 and was attended by close family and friends.
