On November 12, 2020, the Armada Township Board of Trustees adopted the Armada Township Fire Prevention and Protection Ordinance, being Armada Township Ordinance No. R2020-26, adopting by reference the International Fire Code 2018 Edition, including appendices, as modified by specific provisions of the Ordinance, prescribing minimum requirements and controls consistent with nationally recognized good practice to safeguard life, property and public welfare from the hazards of fire, explosion and other similar dangerous conditions; providing for the installation of rapid entry key boxes for utilization by the Armada Township Fire Department; providing a penalty for violation of the Ordinance and all Ordinances and Resolutions in conflict with the Ordinance.
The full text of the Ordinance has been posted in the office of the Armada Township Clerk and on the Armada Township website. The Township Clerk’s office is located at 23121 Main Street, Armada, MI 48005. The Armada Township website can be accessed at www.armadatwp.org. A copy of the Ordinance may be viewed or purchased at the office of the Armada Township Clerk during regular business hours.

The Ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after this publication.
