
Bill “Bigboy” Adams, 63, of Bruce Township, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022 with his family at his side. He was born July 10, 1958, the son of George and Gloria (Standfest) Adams in Detroit.
He attended and graduated from Romeo High School. After high school, Bigboy began working for the Ford Motor Company at the tractor plant in Romeo. He enjoyed riding motorcycles with different motorcycle organizations in the area. Bigboy also bought and sold motorcycles. He had 15 motorcycles in his collection. He also bought and sold automobiles over the years. Bigboy was a kind person and was always willing to help others.
Bigboy is survived by two brothers, George “Butch” (Isabelle) Adams, of Shelby Township, and Gary (Pam) Adams, of East China; and his sister, Janice (Pete) Piccini, of North Carolina. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Heidi Piccini, Wendy (Teddy) Eaves, Richie (Amy) Piccini, Danielle Adams, Jason Adams and John (Sue) Olley; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Morgan, Alexandria, Gabriella, Nathaniel, Kendra, Paxton, Domonic, Brianna and Alysia.
He was preceded in death by two nephews, Jacob and Desmond; and his parents George and Gloria Adams.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service 4 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 6, 2022 with the Rev. Curtiss Ostosh, of Harvest Time Christian Fellowship of Warren will officiating. Visitation with friends and family will be before the service from 1-4 p.m. A luncheon will follow the service. All memorial events are at Muir Funeral Home and Celebration of Life Center, 2650 South Van Dyke Road, Imlay City.
