Notice is hereby given to any and all interested parties, that Washington Township, Bruce Township and the Village of Romeo is seeking public comment on the Washington, Bruce and Romeo Parks & Recreation and STAR Commission’s Five Year 2024-2028 Parks & Recreation Master Plan.
The required 30-day public review and comment period will begin on Wed, Nov 29, 2023, and will end on Dec 29, 2023. Washington Township, Bruce Township and the Village of Romeo along with the Commission is preparing this Five-Year Parks & Recreation Plan in accordance with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources requirements. When completed, the plan will serve as a guide for the acquisition and development of community recreation facilities and programs over the next five (5) years.
Beginning Wed, November 29, 2023 copies of the draft of the Washington, Bruce and Romeo Parks & Recreation and STAR Commission’s Five-Year Parks & Recreation Plan may be found at the Romeo- Washington-Bruce Parks & Recreation Department’s Main Office (361 Morton St. Romeo MI 48065) and our Washington Activity Center (57900 Van Dyke, Washington, MI 48094) during normal business hours. The draft plan may also be accessed online at rwbparksrec.org.
