A regular meeting of the Charter Township of Oakland Board of Trustees was called to order on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 7:00 PM in the Township Hall, 4393 Collins Rd, Rochester, MI.
PRESENT: Robin Buxar, Supervisor; Dave Mabry, Clerk; John Giannangeli, Treasurer; Jack Elder, Trustee; Jeanne Langlois, Trustee; Lana Mangiapane, Trustee; Andy Zale, Trustee
ABSENT: None
THE FOLLOWING MOTIONS WERE MADE AND PASSED:
1. To approve the agenda as presented.
2. To approve the Consent Agenda as read.
3. To schedule the public hearing for December 14, 2023 to discuss the application for one Class C liquor license submitted by Silver Shamrocks LLC located at 4497 Collins Road, Oakland Township MI and direct the Clerk to publish the notice in accordance with state law.
4. To approve the allocation of Program Year 2024 Community Development Block Grant Funds in the approximate amount of $21,904 as follows, authorizing the Supervisor to sign the application and the conflict of interest certification, and submit the documents to Oakland County: Public Service (Battered and Abused Spouses) for $3,500.00 and Mobile Home Minor Repair for $18,404.00 for a total of $21,904.00.
5. To approve the request for a variance to the land division width requirement, at the proposal would not alter the character of the area, subject to the following conditions: 1) That no further divisions of either of the two parcels shall be permitted; 2) That the petitioner agrees to abide by and comply with all pertinent codes, ordinances and standards of Oakland Township, Oakland County, and the State of Michigan.
6. To approve that the Township accept the contract for service from PEA for the Gallagher Road pathway to complete phase 2 at a cost not-to-exceed $19,000 and authorize the Supervisor to sign.
7. To adjourn the meeting at 7:53 PM.
