Approval of Minutes –– Approval of October 20, 2023 minutes: motion carried. Approval of the Bills –Approval in the amount of $55,202.48 and $298,894,24: motion carried. Special Presentations – 2 presentations RCS 297 Prospect Street and DDA Igloo Cost Share Request. Correspondences – none. Public Comments – Comments were heard. Officer reports: President – report given, Clerk – report given, Treasurer – report given, Trustees- reports given, Planning Commission Ex-Ofico – Report given. Committee reports- Fire/ALS Contract – conversations continue; Parks and Rec Lease – amount has been agreed upon; PILOP Committee – have not met yet. Unfinished business: Parks and Rec Space Lease – motion carried; Crosswalk Project – update given, no board action; Elected Officials Pay Ordinance – discussion, no board action; Cemetery – discussion, no board action; Consultants Report – discussion, no board action; Village Hall Restoration – motion carried to move forward with getting proposals. New Business: Parks and Rec Tree Lighting Permit – motion carried; Romeo Soda Shop Event Permit – motion carried; Romeo Lions Event Permit – motion carried; DDA Cost Share Request – motion carried to pay electricity bill in park, motion failed to not exceed $2,000.00; Legal RFP – motion carried to extend for 2 more years with current contract holder; Village Park Flag Request – discussion, no board action.
