NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Washington Township Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a Public Hearing on Monday January 8th, 2024 at 6:30 p.m., at 57900 Van Dyke, Washington Township Michigan 48094 in the Board Room of the Washington Township Municipal Building. The purpose of this meeting is to consider an appeal by:

By reason of:
Washington Township Zoning Ordinance Article 5.0 Site Standards, Section 5.12 Off Street Parking Requirements, D. Village District V-1 parking standards. (First Request) 1. Parking within a front yard shall be limited to a one-way maneuvering lane, (Second Request) and one row of parking.
Purpose of request:
This request, if approved, would allow the applicant to expand the parking area within the front yard to include two rows of parking with two-way maneuvering lanes. A new ingress-egress access approach on Van Dyke is proposed which will be centrally located within the frontage of the property along Van Dyke. Also, with this proposal is the elimination of the existing Amanda Circle access to the main parking area within the front yard as well as the elimination of the existing Van Dyke access that is located near the West Road and Van Dyke intersection.
