Unless changed by the Village Council by duly posted notice, all of the foregoing regular meetings will take place at the Village of Armada Municipal Offices located at 74274 Burk Street, Armada, Michigan 48005 commencing at 7:00 p.m.; to set the 2024/2025 budget workshop dates of January 8th and 22rd, February 12th and 26th, March 111th at 5:30 p.m., including February 5th and 19th and March 4th and 18th at 5:30 p.m. if necessary. Unanimously approved: to adopt the ordinance amending Title VII, entitled “Business and Trades,” Chapter 71 through and including Chapter 78, of the Village Code of Ordinances for the purpose of revising and updating the regulations pertaining to Peddlers, Solicitors, Junk Dealers, Gasoline Stations, Poolrooms and Bowling Establishments, Recreation, Amusements and Games, and Vending Machines and Coin-Operated Machines; to adopt the resolutions establishing a fee schedule for peddler and solicitor licenses; to adopt the resolution designating Chris Sledz as the single Street Administrator for the Village of Armada in all transactions with the State Transportation Department as provided in ss13 of Public Act 51 of 1951 (MCL247.663); to enter into Public Hearing at 7:26 p.m.; to exit Public Hearing at 7:28 p.m.; to set the Public Hearing date of January 22, 2024, at 7:00 pm for CDBG distribution; to approve the 2024 membership renewal with the Michigan Municipal League for the period of February 1, 2024, through January 31, 2025, in the amount of $1,461.00; to appoint Ross Boelke as member ex-officio to the Village of Armada Zoning Board of Appeals for a term ending November 25, 2024; to amend the minutes of November 13, 2023, approved as amended at the November 27, 2023, Regular Meeting of Council, to include the SEMCOG Presentation.
