A regular meeting of the Charter Township of Oakland Board of Trustees was called to order on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 7:00 PM in the Township Hall, 4393 Collins Rd, Rochester, MI.
PRESENT: Robin Buxar, Supervisor; Dave Mabry, Clerk; John Giannangeli, Treasurer; Jack Elder, Trustee; Jeanne Langlois, Trustee; Lana Mangiapane, Trustee; Andy Zale, Trustee
ABSENT: None
THE FOLLOWING MOTIONS WERE MADE AND PASSED:
1. To approve the agenda as presented.
2. To approve the Consent Agenda as read.
3. To approve Carlisle Wortman Associates, Inc. to prepare the Master Plan 5-Year update as required under the Michigan Planning Enabling Act, Act 33 of 2008, in the amount of $10,917.50 per the proposal dated October 23, 2023.
4. To table this agenda item.
5. To amend the 2024 Fox Nature Preserve Natural Areas Stewardship Field Work Plan by removing from the January – February Section, Item #3 and further to approve the remainder of the 2024 for Fox Nature Preserve Natural Areas Stewardship Field Work Plan from January to June as amended.
6. To approve the purchase of a new vehicle for the Building Department Fleet per the bid from Berger Chevrolet out of Grand Rapids in the amount of $68,693.
7. To approve the resolution to approve the Oakland County Equalization Division Assistance for Real and Personal Property Assessment Administration Services contract between Oakland Township and Oakland County and authorize the Township Supervisor and the Township Clerk to execute the same.
8. To adjourn the meeting at 8:27 PM.
