On January 17, 2024, the Township Board of Trustees for the Charter Township of Washington, approved an Amendment to the Washington Township Zoning Ordinance, being Ordinance 138, as amended, revising the Zoning Map to reflect the Conditional Rezoning of Parcel ID Nos. 24-04-35-105-006 and 24-04-35-105-007 commonly known as 12220 27 Mile Road and Parcel ID No. 24-04-35-105-008 commonly known as 12286 27 Mile Road. The rezoning is conditioned upon the parcels being developed and utilized in compliance with the plans approved by the Washington Township Board of Trustees depicting 15 single family homes (1.57 units per acre).
A complete copy of the Zoning Ordinance Amendment and revised Zoning Map is posted in the office of the Township Clerk located at 57900 Van Dyke Avenue, Washington Township, Michigan 48094 and on the Washington Township website which can be accessed at www.washingtontownship.org. The Zoning Ordinance Amendment and revised Zoning Map may be reviewed, inspected or a copy purchased at the Township Clerkâs Office Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Ordinance Amendment shall take effect seven (7) days after this publication.
