PUBLIC NOTICE – ARMADA TOWNSHIP FEBRUARY 14, 2024 BOARD OF TRUSTEES REGULAR MEETING SYNOPSIS

Supervisor Paterek called meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Present: Paterek, Swiacki, Job, Murray, Goetzinger

Chief Kohut presented lifesaving awards to Captain Kevin Kanehl, Fire Fighters/Paramedics Colin Myny, Katie Lesosky, Patrick Martindale and Matthew Offner for their professionalism on February 7.

Approved: Departmental reports. Minutes: 1.20.24; 1.30.24 special minutes; 1.30.24 budget workshop minutes; 2.1.24 election commission minutes; 2.8.24 election commission minutes as presented. Agenda as amended. Current bills as presented. Re-appointed DJ Kehrig and Maureen Finn to the Planning Commission 3-year term from March 2024-March 2027. Set Truth in Budgeting Public Hearing for March 13, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. Purchase of document scanner from Amplify Graphics & Branding for $2,866. Employee appraisal form. Fire Department: BS&A training for General Ledger & Payroll in the amount of $2,290. Farmland Rental for crop year 2024 to John Fogler Farms, LLC in the amount of $120. Property & liability insurance from Decker Agency in the amount of $31,852 and Provident Premium for Fire Department in the amount of $2,712.
