Pres. Coenen called meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Pledge of Allegiance recited. Council members present at roll call: Coenen, Clark, Sledz, Adair, and Boelke. Absent: Shall and Ballard. Also present: Clerk Poulos, Treasurer Porter, Stacy Sobotka, Amy Barzyk, Richard Maierle, and Kevin Grand.
COUNCIL ACTION: Unanimously approved Agenda as presented. Heard and Received: Revised January Treasurer’s Report, Code Enforcement Report, and the F & V Report for December, 2023; Verbal Reports from the Water and Sewer Commissioners and the Street Administrator; Police Commissioner Adair read aloud the Police Action Report for January, 2024, and Chief Maierle also commented on the report. Approved the Consent Agenda as presented: RCM Minutes of 1/22/24 approved as presented; Payment of Bills totaling $104,881.18 as presented. Unanimously approved: to adopt the Resolution Calling Public Hearing on Special Assessment Roll for Armada Village Police Special Assessment District on March 11, 2024, at 7:00 p.m.; to accept the appraised values from CBIZ Valuation Group of Village property as presented with the understanding that these new appraisals will raise the insurance premiums; to set the Public Hearing date for approval of the 2024/2025 Fiscal Year Budget for March 25, 2024 at 7:00 p.m.; to accept the proposal from ROWE Professional Services Company for Design Engineering Services in the amount of $55,100.00 and to permit the Street Administrator to sign on behalf of the Village; Unanimously approved to adjourn the meeting at 7:30 p.m. A Complete text of minutes is available for public inspection at the Clerk’s office during regular business hours.
