Pursuant to the Washington Township Noxious Weed Ordinance, being Ordinance No. 41, as amended, you are hereby notified that noxious weeds and any weeds, grass and brush of any species or variety exceeding a height of eight (8″) inches above ground level on parcels of land three (3) acres or less in size which abut a residential structure, not cut by June 1, 2024 will be cut by the Township and the owner of the property charged with the cost of removal as provided for in the Ordinance. The Township may cut such weeds, grass or brush as many times as is necessary and charge the cost to the property owner. The accepted method of treating and eradicating such weeds is by cutting, plowing under, or destroying by use of an accepted liquid weed killer. No such weeds shall be destroyed by fire.
