Notice is hereby given that the Ray Township Board of Trustees, at their regular meeting on April 17, 2024, adopted amendments to the Ray Township Zoning Ordinance. These amendments include:
1. Changes to Section 2300, D-4, Site Condominiums – clarifying the submittal of required maintenance agreements and covenants.
2. Changes to Section 2400, C-5, Open Space Communities – adding the required submittal of maintenance agreements and covenants.
3. Eliminating Section 200, B – Accessory buildings in Residential Districts, which requires Special Land Use approval for the location of accessory buildings in front of a home.
4. Changes to Section 2500, D-5 – Private Roads – to reference the 2018 International Fire Code and increase the minimum cul-de-sac turning radius.
Copies of the adopted amendments are available for review at the Ray Township Hall, 64255 Wolcott, Ray, MI, 48096, during normal Township business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and on the Township website at www.raytwp.org.
