Pres. Coenen called meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Pledge of Allegiance recited. Council members present at roll call: Coenen, Clark, Boelke, Adair, Shall, Stirrett. Absent: Vacant Council Seat. Also present: Clerk Poulos, Treasurer Porter, Sam Boelke, Andrew Cubitt, David Wagner, Kevin Grand, and Stacy Sobotka.
COUNCIL ACTION: Unanimously approved Agenda as presented. Heard and/or received a DPW Report for April, 2024; the Planning Commission Meeting Minutes of 4/15/24, the F & V Operations Report for April, 2024, verbal reports from Planning Commission Liaison Shall, Water Commissioner Boelke, and Sewer Commissioner Stirrett. Unanimously Approved the Consent Agenda as presented: RCM Minutes of 5/13/24 approved as presented; Payment of Bills totaling $25,372.02 as presented; approved the Special Event Permit Application from the Armada PAL on 6/02/24 between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm for a Four Corner Fundraiser. Unanimously Approved: to extend Jayden Kloss-Schaible an offer of part-time employment with the Village of Armada Department of Public Works at a rate of $18.00/hour starting after pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen. Employee will work no more than 30 hours/week, ne benefits will be provided and a CDL is not required. The part-time employment will end no later than November 30, 2024, unless otherwise extended by Council.
