Notice is hereby given that the Bruce Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 beginning at 6:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows, at the Bruce Township Hall, 223 East Gates Street, Romeo, MI 48065.
The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments on a request for special land use approval submitted by Robert Dietlin. The applicant proposes to construct a new accessory building at 78837 Harvest Lane (parcel ID 14-01-09-201-009) in the RS district. The parcel in question is approximately 5 acres. The building is proposed to be placed in the side yard; placing an accessory building in the side yard requires special land use approval.
A complete copy of the application for special land use approval may be examined at Bruce Township Hall, 223 East Gates Street, Romeo, MI 48065, prior to the public hearing, during the Township’s regular business hours, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM through 4:30 PM. Written comments may be addressed to the Planning Commission at the Township Hall address. Oral comments will be taken during the hearing on July 10, 2024.
This notice is published pursuant to the requirements of the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act, PA 110 of 2006, as amended.
