Please be advised that the Village of Romeo, Michigan Planning Commission will hold a public hearing
to consider a request for Special Land Use on property located at:
14761 32 Mile Road (Parcel ID# 27-01-36-400-038) (Parcel ID# 27-01-36-400-039) (Parcel ID# 28-04-01-200-028) Romeo, Michigan 48065
This location is applying for a SLU in accordance to Section 46-393 (9), Special Land Uses, that are allowed in the IND-Industrial Zoning District. The Ordinance allows marihuana grower, marihuana safety compliance facility, marihuana processor, marihuana retailer, medical marihuana, provisioning center, or secure transporter, which are uses only to be permitted within the IND-Industrial District, subject to Special land Use approval.
The public hearing will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Romeo Community Center, 361 Morton Street, Romeo, Michigan 48065, Thursday, November 7, 2024.
The proposed documents may be examined, or written comments may be submitted, at the Village Office during business 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, or by emailing the Zoning Administrator at cwilson@villageofromeo.org.
