On January 15, 2025, the Township Board of the Charter Township of Washington, Macomb County, Michigan, adopted an Amendment of the Charter Township of Washington Zoning Ordinance, being Ordinance No. 138 as amended. The purpose of the Amendment is to provide specific regulations and requirements for non-residential condominiums; to add definitions of housing for the elderly/senior citizen housing, sport(s) courts and third-party delivery services; to provide set back requirements for sport(s) courts; to set forth provisions regarding loading and unloading areas relative to third party delivery services and repeal any and all Ordinances and Resolutions in conflict therewith.
A complete copy of the Ordinance Amendment is posted in the office of the Township Clerk located at 57900 Van Dyke Avenue, Washington Township, Michigan 48094 and on the Washington Township website which can be accessed at www.washingtontownship.org. The Ordinance Amendment may be reviewed, inspected or a copy purchased at the Township Clerk’s Office Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Ordinance Amendment shall take effect seven (7) days after this publication.
