Pres. Coenen called meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Pledge of Allegiance recited. Council members present at roll call: Coenen, Clark, Stirrett, Shall, Adair, Barzyk, and Boelke. Also present: Clerk Poulos, Treasurer Porter, Jeffrey Bahorski, David Chegash, Bill Schapman, Dean Reinhardt, Stacy Sobotka, Bryon Jaracz, and Kevin Grand.
COUNCIL ACTION: Unanimously approved Agenda as amended: Moved Agenda item B to Agenda item C. Heard and Received: Treasurer’s and Code Enforcement Reports for May, 2026; a verbal report from the Water Commissioner. Approved the Consent Agenda as presented: RCM Minutes of 5/26/26 approved as presented; Payment of Bills totaling $106,975.47. Unanimously approved: to approve an Employment Agreement between the Village of Armada and Antonio Whitmore effective June 15, 2026; to accept the quote from VanPaemel’s Sales and Service for a Spartan Defender 60” Kawasaki FR730 Lawn Mower for a cost of $6,199.00 and to allow the DPW Supervisor to pursue the purchase; to allow the Armada Agricultural Society to reconnect the Fair Street water line to the greater fairgrounds water system based on a Connection Fee, with the cost to be determined, an administrative resumption of service fee of $50.00 and a Capital Improvement Fee of $3,850.00. Unanimously approved to adjourn the meeting at 7:47 p.m.
