The 2026 FALL OPEN BURNING is as follows per Chapter 94 of City Code: Open burning of leaves, dead grass, tree trimmings, brush and clippings shall be permitted one (1) hour before sunrise to one (1) hour after sunset during the time period of OCTOBER 4th 2026 THROUGH NOVEMBER 15, 2026. Open fires shall be attended by owner or occupant at all times. Violators shall be punished by fines of up to $500 and/or 90 days imprisonment.
Brush placed at the road side will be removed by The DPW crew during this period only. Council requests no burning on October 30th or October 31, 2026.
