SYNOPSIS OF UNOFFICIAL MINUTES FOR RCM 9/23/19
Pres. Wolak called meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Pledge of Allegiance recited. Council members present at roll call: Ballard, Clark, Coenen, Sledz, Boelke, Shall, and Wolak. Also present: Clerk Poulos, Treasurer Adair, Matt Carstens, Chris Munson, and Cliff Urbanek.
COUNCIL ACTION: Unanimously approved Agenda as amended: removed Sewer Rate Methodology for Sewer Plant Renovations and added – Armada Trap Non-Profit Recognition as New Business Item D. Heard/Received: the August 2019, F & V Report: a report from Water Commissioner Boelke; the Treasurer and the Code Enforcement Reports for August, 2019; an update from Trustee Boelke regarding the upcoming Sesquicentennial. Unanimously approved the Consent Agenda as presented: RCM Minutes of 9/9/19 approved as presented; Payment of Bills totaling $94,697.51 as presented; the application from the Village of Armada for a Special event Permit on October 12 and 13, 2019, for Sesquicentennial Activities. Heard an update from Street Administrator Ballard. Unanimously approved: a one-year service contract from Hydro-Dyne Engineering in the not to exceed amount of $2,900.00 for on-site inspection and service on the grit screen at the Sewer Plant and to allow the President, Clerk, or Sewer Commissioner Clark to sign on the Village’s behalf; to comply with the President’s recommendation to appoint Dennis LeMieux to the Zoning Board of Appeals to a term ending December 31, 2021, subject to the appointee meeting the qualifications set forth in Chapter II of the General Law Village Act; to approve the attached resolution recognizing the Armada Trap Boosters as a non-profit organization operating in the community; Unanimously approved to adjourn the meeting at 7:29 p.m. A Complete text of minutes is available for public inspection at the Clerk’s office during regular business hours.
