To the Qualified Electors: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the SPECIAL PRIMARY will be held in the Township of Ray, County of Macomb, State of Michigan on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at the place of holding the Election in said township as indicated below.
Ray Township, Precinct 1 and Precinct 2 –
Ray Township Hall, 64255 Wolcott Rd, Ray, MI 48096
All precincts are handicap accessible in accordance with the provisions of “ADA”. Voting instructions are also available in alternative forms (audio and Braille). All precincts are handicap accessible. Voting instructions are available in alternative formats. Contact your Clerk’s office for details. Please note that “photo identification” requirement implemented per Michigan Election Law, requires voter’s appearing at polling locations to present picture identification, or sign an affidavit if they do not have picture identification with them.
THE POLLS of said election will be open at 7:00 a.m. and will remain open until 8:00 p.m. of said day of election.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that for the Special Primary Election you will be voting on nominating candidates for the following office: State Senator – 8th District (one partial term ending 01/01/2023).
Please note the Township of Ray will be open to the public Saturday, July 31, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to process absentee ballot requests ONLY. Friday, July 30 is the last day an absent voter ballot can be mailed via First Class mail. On Monday, August 2, 2021 absentee ballots must be voted in person at the Clerk’s office up until 4:00 p.m.
