PUBLIC NOTICE VILLAGE OF ARMADA – SYNOPSIS OF UNOFFICIAL MINUTES FOR RCM 7/26/21

President Wolak called meeting to order at 7:03 PM. Pledge of Allegiance recited. Council members present at roll call: Ballard, Sledz, Wolak, Shall, Clark, and Boelke. Absent: Coenen. Also present: Clerk Poulos, Treasurer Adair, Kevin Grand, Stacy Sobotka, Leif Clark (DTE), Stephanie Beres (DTE), Brian DelPapa (DTE), and Tom McVicer (DTE) .

COUNCIL ACTION: Unanimously approved Agenda as presented. Heard and/or received: An update from DTE employees regarding the status of restoring power to the Village, The DPW Report for July, 2021 and the F & V Report for June, 2021; comments/ updates from Water Commissioner Boelke, Police Commissioner Ballard, and Street Administrator Sledz. Unanimously Approved the Consent Agenda as presented: RCM Minutes of 7/12/21 approved as presented; Payment of Bills totaling $198,172.58 as presented. Heard reports from the Sewer and Water Commissioners. Unanimously approved: to set a public hearing for Monday, August 9th, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. to consider the adoption of an ordinance amending the Village Zoning Ordinance to authorize the Village Council to consider granting of a use variance and create a transitional overlay (TO) district. Unanimously approved to adjourn the meeting at 7:53 p.m. A Complete text of minutes is available for public inspection at the Clerk’s office during regular business hours.
